To ensure a smooth and comfortable session while capturing the most precious moments, here are some helpful tips:

šŸ¼ The Day Before the Session

āœ” Moisturize your baby’s skin – Apply a gentle baby lotion or coconut oil, especially if there are any dry or flaky areas.

āœ” Trim your baby’s nails – Newborns often have long nails and may accidentally scratch themselves. Trim them or gently file them with a soft baby nail file.

ā³ Before the Photoshoot

1ļøāƒ£ Feed your baby right before the session šŸ¼ – A well-fed baby is calm and more likely to sleep soundly during the photoshoot. Try to feed them just before the session begins.

2ļøāƒ£ Keep your baby awake for about 1 hour before the session ā° – A bath, diaper change, or gentle massage can help tire them out so they sleep deeply during the shoot.

3ļøāƒ£ Dress your baby in just a diaper šŸ‘¶ – This makes it easier to change outfits and get them ready for the session without disturbing their sleep.

4ļøāƒ£ Choose loose clothing without over-the-head fastenings šŸ‘• – A zip-up or button-up onesie is best so it can be removed easily without waking the baby.

5ļøāƒ£ Keep the room warm šŸŒ”ļø – Set the temperature to around 77°F to ensure your baby stays cozy and comfortable, even without clothes.

6ļøāƒ£ Stay relaxed and enjoy the moment šŸ’• – Babies can sense their parents’ emotions, so trust your photographer and cherish this special time!
