Your baby stays wrapped throughout the entire session, which helps keep the session comfortable, calm, and relatively quick.

This package includes:

• Newborn baby only — no family photos

• 30–60 minute session

• Wrapped baby poses only

• One simple coordinated setup

• Simple props such as a basket, small bed, wrap, blanket, or similar accessories

• Different angles and close-up images of your baby

• All good images from the session included

• Professional color correction

• High-resolution JPG digital files

Our most convenient express option for families who want beautiful newborn photos and family portraits without spending several hours on a traditional newborn session.

The baby remains wrapped for the newborn portion of the session, helping the photoshoot move quickly and comfortably.

This package includes:

• Newborn baby photos

• Family photos included

• Parents and siblings may participate

• 45-60 minute session

• Wrapped baby poses only

• Simple newborn setup with coordinated wraps and props

• Baby photographed in different baskets, beds, or other simple props

• Close-ups and different angles

• Family portraits

• Approximately 25–35 professionally edited digital images

• High-resolution JPG files

Please note: There are no outfit changes or advanced newborn posing in this package. The focus is on creating a beautiful gallery quickly while keeping your baby wrapped and comfortable.

Best for: Families who want both newborn and family photos but prefer a short, stress-free session.

Baby + Family • Natural lifestyle photography • No studio props

A relaxed lifestyle session that captures your baby's first days naturally in your own home.

Unlike my traditional newborn packages, I do not create a studio-style newborn setup or bring baskets, backgrounds, outfits, or posing props for this session.

Instead, we photograph your family using your own home as the setting — for example, the nursery, parents' bedroom, living room, crib, rocking chair, or other meaningful areas of your home.

This package includes:

• Newborn baby + family

• Approximately 1–1.5 hour session

• Natural lifestyle poses

• Photos of parents with baby

• Sibling/family moments

• Baby in the nursery, crib, parents' arms, bed, or other natural home settings

• No studio backgrounds or newborn props

• No elaborate newborn posing

• All good images from the session included

• Professional color correction

• High-resolution JPG digital files

Please note: Images receive professional color and exposure correction but do not include detailed retouching.

Best for: Families who prefer natural, emotional, documentary-style photographs rather than traditional posed newborn photography.

This package is perfect if you would like a traditional posed newborn session but do not need several different themes or family photographs.

Unlike the Express packages, this session allows more time for professional newborn posing and detailed retouching.

This package includes:

• Newborn baby only — no family photos

• Approximately 2 hour session

• One outfit / one coordinated theme

• One complete styled setup

• I bring the background, baskets, wraps, outfit, blankets, and coordinating accessories

• Different professional newborn poses

• Baby may be photographed both in props and posed outside of props depending on the setup

• Detail photographs and close-ups

• 25–35 professionally retouched digital images

• High-resolution JPG files

• Reduction of temporary dry or flaky skin when appropriate

• Background cleanup

• Overall image refinement

Please note: Professional retouching includes more detailed editing than the Express packages, including skin cleanup, color refinement, and finishing each selected photograph for a polished newborn photography look.

Best for: Parents who want traditional posed newborn photography with professional retouching but only need one theme/setup.

#5. Only Newborn – $525

Baby only • Three outfits/setups • Maximum baby-photo variety

A more complete newborn experience designed for parents who want a larger variety of photographs, poses, colors, outfits, and props — while keeping the session focused entirely on the baby.

This package includes:

• Newborn baby only — no family photos

• Approximately 3 hour session

• Up to 3 different outfits / setups / themes

• Three coordinated styling changes

• I bring backgrounds, baskets, beds, wraps, outfits, blankets, and other newborn props

• Different professional newborn poses

• Wrapped and styled images

• Prop poses

• Close-ups and detail photographs

The VIP Newborn package is my most complete newborn photography experience.

It combines everything included in the Only Newborn package — traditional newborn posing, multiple outfits, three setups, props, close-ups, detail photography, and professional retouching — with professional family portraits.
 

Because we have approximately 3–5 hours, the session can move completely around your baby's needs without rushing.

There is time for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, settling baby to sleep, posing, outfit changes, setup changes, and family photography.

This package includes:

• Newborn baby photography

• Family photographs included

• Parents, siblings, and other family members may participate

• Approximately 3–5 hour session

• Up to 3 different newborn outfits / setups / themes

During a traditional newborn session, I spend significantly more time posing and repositioning your baby.

Small adjustments to baby's hands, feet, head position, body position, wraps, blankets, and props can make a big difference in the final photograph.

This careful posing process is one of the main reasons a traditional newborn session takes significantly longer than an Express session.

Family photographs may include:

Why Do Traditional Newborn Sessions Take Longer?

You may notice that an Express session can take approximately 30–60 minutes while a traditional newborn session may take several hours.

The difference is posing and the amount of individual work with your baby.

During traditional newborn photography, I gently position baby's:

• Head

• Hands

• Fingers

• Feet

• Legs

• Body

• Wraps

• Clothing

• Blankets

We may spend several minutes settling baby into one comfortable pose before taking the photograph.

Then baby is gently transitioned into the next position.

The process may also include:

• Feeding

• Burping

• Diaper changes

• Soothing

• Rocking

• Settling baby back to sleep

• Outfit changes

• Wrap changes

• Prop changes

• Background changes

The goal is not to rush.

The additional time allows us to create a much more varied and carefully posed newborn gallery while always prioritizing your baby's comfort.

Newborn Safety Comes First

Every baby is different.

Some newborns naturally curl into certain positions while others prefer different poses.

The poses we create depend on your baby's:

• Age

• Sleep

• Flexibility

• Comfort

• Temperament

• Safety

I never force a baby into a pose.

If your baby does not appear comfortable in a particular position, we simply move on to another pose.

Your baby's safety and comfort always come before getting a photograph.

For this reason, specific poses can never be guaranteed.

Color Correction vs. Professional Retouching

Express Sessions

Express packages focus on speed, simplicity, and value.

Depending on the selected package, photographs receive professional editing including:

• Exposure correction

• White balance correction

• Color correction

• Contrast adjustments

• General image refinement

Detailed individual skin or background retouching is not included unless specifically stated.

Traditional Newborn Sessions

Packages #4, #5, and #6 include detailed professional retouching.

Each final photograph receives individual attention to create a polished newborn photography look.

Retouching may include:

• Professional color correction

• Skin refinement

• Temporary redness reduction when appropriate

• Temporary flaky skin cleanup when appropriate

• Background cleanup

• Small distracting-element removal

• Overall image refinement

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the newborn session take place?

All newborn sessions take place in your home.

I bring the photography equipment and the items included with your selected package directly to you.

You do not need to travel anywhere with your newborn.

Does my home need to be large or professionally decorated?

No.

For styled sessions, I mainly need enough room to safely create the photography setup.

Your entire home does not need to be clean or photo-ready.

For Lifestyle sessions, we intentionally use your own home as part of the photographs.

What is the best age for newborn photography?

The first weeks of baby's life are especially suitable for newborn photography because babies are generally sleepier and naturally more curled during this stage.

Traditional posed sessions are easiest when babies are still very young.

However, every baby is different, and older newborns can still be photographed beautifully.

The exact poses and session flow may simply be adjusted according to your baby's age and comfort.

What happens if my baby does not sleep?

That is completely okay.

Newborn sessions always move at baby's pace.

We can feed, soothe, wrap, rock, or comfort baby as needed.

Beautiful photographs can also be created when baby is awake.

Can siblings participate?

Yes, with packages that include family photography.

Package #2 and package #6 include family photographs.

Lifestyle package #3 also includes family photography in your home environment.

Do you provide props and outfits?

Yes, for the styled newborn packages.

The exact number of setups, outfits, and props depends on the package you select.

Package #3 Express Lifestyle does not include studio-style props or backgrounds because your own home is used as the setting.

Will my baby do every pose shown in your portfolio?

Not necessarily.

Every newborn has a different level of flexibility, comfort, sleepiness, and preference.

I choose poses based on what is appropriate and comfortable for your baby.

I never force a baby into a pose simply to recreate a photograph.
